About Me
I'm Isabel. I’m the oldest of seven, which is my go-to fact and something I've deemed a defining feature. It is a choice existence and something must have gone beautifully in a past life for me to land in this one. I get to be one among many in a house teeming with emotions, laughter, coloring on walls, occasional fights, general mess and, of course, creativity. If my job in this life is to give back what has been so freely given (and I do believe it is) then I feel mine is about freedom: helping others identify their innermost truths, own their stories, live without the fear of isolation, but with the undeniable wisdom of connection.

"Eloise" is in Post-Production!
Eloise is a short film project I pitched last year to Next Stop Creatives as a means of exploring the film medium and sharing (in a rather magical realism sort of way) a bit of my sober journey. Our October crowdfunding campaign through Seed & Spark was a tremendous success. We shot the film at the end of January and have since locked in our picture edit! Our sound editing and coloring process are underway.

Gotta Sing!
On March 29th, I performed in Kenneth Gartman's "Gotta Sing!" Cabaret with 7 other phenomenally talented performers at Green Room 42. Clips of both my renditions of Joni Mitchell's "He Comes for Conversations" and Florence & The Machine's "Morning Elvis" can be found here.

We wrapped "Eloise"
We shot the entirely of our short film, "Eloise" between January 20th and 24th. It took 107 shots, 2 states, 5 locations, 47 hours, many cars, a car accident... , a jump start, a life-saving van, 3 sisters, a broken lamp and (among other things) lots and lots of haze. It was an EPIC success!

We reached 100% of our Crowdfunding Goal!
After a month of crowdfunding, we raised $15,085 to make "Eloise." we had over a 100 people contribute and many more follow along with interviews, posts and attend our donation-based yoga class. Community was and is at the heart of this project and this was an rewarding end to an exhilarating (and often challenging) month.

Another Summer At Stagedoor
I spent another summer at Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Center as an Artistic Staff member. This 2024 season I was a part of 2 sessions, Directing and Choreographing "Bright Star" and "The Secret Garden" (musical). Teaching the Master Acting class for session one was a highlight of the experience among many.
